Immram
For this seventh opus entitled Immram, Gwennyn takes us on a Celtic odyssey through a
ocean of dreams, awakenings and emotions beaten by the strong west winds. She invited Lann's Bagad
Bihoué for this adventure.
Eleven unreleased tracks punctuate this odyssey including "War an Hent" and "Kimiad" (cover of a song
traditional popularized by Alan Stivell) with the Bagad of Lann-Bihoué, “Mizioù Du” with Soïg Sibéril and
“Me gav hir an amzer”, a Vannes hymn also known as “Karantez doc’h Doue”.
Immram is an album that brings hope and light through inspired lyrics, a beautiful
sensual voice, the magic of Patrice Marzin's arrangements and finally the crew of talented musicians who
has supported it for many years:
Patrice Marzin (guitars, programming), David Pasquet (bombarde), Kevin Camus (uilleann pipe and flutes),
Manu Leroy (bass), Yvon Molard (percussions), Ronan Rouxel (violins and mandolins).
